Auf diesem Bild kann man sehr gut die alte und neue Gleisnummerierung in OD nachvollziehen. Das leere Bahnsteiggleis war damals Gleis 3, weil die beiden Betriebsgleise im Vordergrund mitgezählt wurden. Richtung Lübeck wurde damals von Gleis 9 abgefahren. Später hat man diese beiden Gütergleise nicht mehr mitgezählt und mit Gleis 2 (anstelle von 4) begonnen, da das erste Bahnsteiggleis (von dem ursprünglich hauptsächlich in Richtung Ratzeburg abgefahren wurde) leer war, obwohl nie wieder mit einer Inbetriebnahme gerechnet werden konnte, war Gleis 1 im Geiste noch vorhanden. Der mechanische Zugzielanzeiger hatte an den Schiebern für Gleis 1 noch die Kennzeichnungen Ratzeburg, Hollenbek und Klein Zecher.
